Artcyclopedia : Edvard Munch

The art world is so extensive, new artists are born every day. As Joseph Beuys and Pablo Picasso stated, everyone is born an artist, it’s the ones who maintain their abilities who grow into the form of an artist. The amount of people who do is immense, therefore I decided to start a new column on this blog, namely Artcyclopedia. It’s a way of storing my personal favourites in one place. I will do my best to share an artist that I admire once in a while.

——————————

First of all, happy New Year! May your 2017 be filled with lots of joy and laughter. The last artist that I want to share with you this year is Edvard Munch. The way he controls his lines and colours are so appealing to the eye. The paintings seem to be in a constant state of movement, it’s the same snapshot that repeats itself over and over again. I conciously chose to only show some of his paintings, excluding his graphic work.

Hope you enjoy these pieces and have a good night everyone!
