Life as an artstudent : further experimenting with shapes

My instagram recently gained a lot of photos with experiments that I made the last few days. As I mentioned in previous posts, I am working with and enjoying the same technique over and over, but still trying to keep it fresh and find new perspectives. I’ve started collecting a lot of magazines, they always have a lot of colours around the words, these colourssegments fascinate me. A few months ago I decided to cut them out and create pieces combining the little colour fragments. The only (little) downside of collecting dozens of magazines are the piles that are stacked up in my apartment.

I’ve always worked on A4 format, but I decided to switch it up and go mini. These pieces are the size of a businesscard, which they (plottwist) actually are.

Here comes the salespitch, as you may have seen I have opened up my own shop recently. This shop contains four limited A4 prints of four of the pieces that are close to my heart. Here’s the special offer, if you buy one, you get a personal, handmade businesscard for free. This offer is limited aswell, so it has a unique quality to it that you just can’t miss!
